Disney on Ice attracts and brings into the theaters thousands of people every year particularly during the Christmas season, the figure skating tour first presented for kids has now become a global entertainment phenomena. As the holiday season is approaching Disney on Ice is setting the temperature high in venues where its different productions are being played or will be on near future dates. Though latest Disney on Ice show is “Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 3” opened in September 2010 but seven previous shows presented by The Walt Disney Company are still highly appreciated especially the first and longest running touring show “Mickey & Minnie's Magical Journey” that opened on October 12, 1995.
Disney on Ice will hit the US Airways, Phoenix with Mickey and Minnie on January 19, 2011 and will run through January 23, 2011. The sale of Disney on Ice tickets started on December 11. There will be 50 characters showing their skating skills and celebrating on ice.
Disney on Ice produced by Feld Entertainment currently touring the country also back at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on December 15 and runs till December 19. The Los Angeles tour features the 2009 big ice party show “Let's Celebrate."  Let's Celebrate also runs at the Honda Center in Anaheim from December 21 through December26, at the Citizen's Business Bank Arena in Ontario from December 29, 2010 through and January 2, 2011 and at the Long Beach Arena through January 5 through January 9, 2011. Let's Celebrate is popular among people of all ages due to its lively, classy and contemporary Disney songs, the impressive and close to it natural story performances and full packed energy. Disney on Ice featuring its 2006 Princess Wishes" will be at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson throughout this weekend.
Disney on Ice known by its beautiful costumes, heart touching songs, amazing dance moves, heavy lighting and new skating moves has earned its name as the best family entertainer even at the international level. Disney on Ice featuring Mickey & Minnie's Magical Journey along with the Little Mermaid, the Lion King, Lilo and Stitch and Peter Pan were in Toronto, Canada from December 25 to January 2, 2011. Disney on Ice featuring the Let’s Celebrate will arrive at the Arco Arena in Sacramento from February 16 to February 21, 2011.
Disney on Ice has announced its winter 2011 tour to Australia and New Zealand but further details will be revealed in 2011.
